Castrol Raceway expecting record crowds for June 25-27 Nitro Jam
EDMONTON, Alberta (May 18, 2010) – IHRA and Castrol Raceway is pleased to announce that the River Cree Resort and Casino will return as title sponsor of the Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals June 25-27 at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Host to one of the biggest drag races in North America, the River Cree Resort and Casino will continue to add to the already sterling tradition that is the Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals.

Still over a month away advance ticket sales for the three-day event have already surpassed last year as race fans gear up for one of the largest Nitro Jams in history.

The River Cree Resort and Casino Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals presented by MOPAR and E3 Spark Plugs is the fifth of 10 races on the 2010 Nitro Jam tour. It will feature multiple nitro classes including Top Fuel, Pro Fuel and Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car along with dozens of additional classes including Alcohol Funny Cars, Nitro Harleys, Pro Modifieds, the Canadian debut of side-by-side jet trucks, many of Canada’s best sportsman competitors and more.
