Well I might as well start with the 2010 Winter Nationals. We made two runs and they were the hit of the Winter Nationals on Saturday. We ran 205 MPH with an ET of 7.13, It went straight as a string, just lifting the front wheels up and down and the fans loved it. Then, on Sunday, it was a repeat of Saturday but better. Ran a 207 MPH and an ET of 7.05.
Our next meet was the March Meet. Oh yes, did I tell you that Mike's cancer came back but of a different kind. The doctor said that if this one had come out when the first one came, there was no cure, but now there is a cure, and he has beat it again! So at the March Meet, Mike came up on Saturday after having Chemotherapy on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. He said he had to got for a ride, but at half track, he shut it off as he was too weak and THANK GOD he shut it off, because he gave Ron Hope a big hole shot. At the end, Ron Hope came over in Mike's lane and popped his chute right in front of Mike, so God was with us as Mike was coasting.
We just ran up in Bakersfield at the Drag Fest, made two runs on Saturday and it ran 205 for both runs. Now we are getting ready for Tucson, AZ. on June 6th, and then to Bowling Green for the Hot Rod Reunion on June 18th, 19th, and 20th.
