Rocketsports Racing team owner Paul Gentilozzi has been awarded many honors throughout his 37 years of involvement in the auto racing industry, both on-track and off-track. Most recently, Gentilozzi was named as one of the fourteen inductees into the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the 2006 class.

Richard Grant Merrell began working on cars in 1955 and served as a sponsor and crew chief at local drag races. The veteran racer died on Dec. 29 in San Bernardino at the age of 88. RIP, Richard.
