SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (May 11, 2010) - The United States Armed Forces will be out in full force at the 2010 AHRA Reunion Tour event at San Antonio aceway May 22-23, helping to celebrate the revival of one of the country's riginal drag racing sanctioning bodies.
Four branches of the military -- Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines - will be present at the AHRA's inaugural Reunion Tour event to support the resurgent sanction and provide information about the benefits of a career in the military.
"As a sanctioning body, it's a privilege to have the Navy, the Marines, the Army and the Air Force all join us at our first event. We strive to offer as many benefits to our fans as possible, and giving them the opportunity to learn about such an important and fulfilling career is a great addition to our program," Troy Moe, AHRA's Chief Executive, said.
The event at San Antonio Raceway is the first of six events in the AHRA 2010 Reunion Tour, celebrating the sanctioning body's first official event in more than 20 years.

Headquartered in Spokane Valley, Wash., the American Hot Rod Association is a drag racing membership organization founded in 1956 to sanction racetracks and promote drag racing events throughout the United States and Canada.
