achievement at the 2005 Autosport Awards, he brought his family along with him. In between interviewing John and organising a photo-shoot in Park Lane, Eurodragster.com and Roger Gorringe managed to grab a quick word with John's daughter Ashley, who drives the Darien and Meadows A/Fuel Dragster. 60s Funny Cars: Round 5
In an age of cookie cutter funny cars and rules outlawing new developments, we flash back to a decade when two funny cars were seldom alike. These racers were free thinkers. Some ideas worked; some did not. But more often that not, ingenuity beat out store bought horsepower.

She's Still Fine!
The 409 powered Bel Air Chevy bubbletop used to dominate the stock classes. Time and being victums of their own success ran the old cars out of the class. Aubrey Burneau brought this little gem out of the woodwork to race in D/Stock.

In Remembrance of Steve Carbone
Today, we lost one of the great drag racers of all time. Steve Carbone passed away after suffering a brain aneurysm. Carbone will be remembered as one of the last great slingshot dragster drivers and a good friend to those who knew him.

ICE Automotive's classic Havoc altered

UK engine and chassis shop ICE Automotive recently unveiled their 112" wheelbase, classically-styled blown-alcohol altered named Havoc. The altered has drawn rave reviews before turning a wheel; although it is easily capable of six-second passes its November début was curtailed by rain. Eurodragster.com spoke to driver Nick Davies and got the lowdown on the stunning new race car.

They don't come much bigger than John Force and Eurodragster.com got the chance to interview the multiple Championship and record-holding Funny Car racer at a brunch in London to celebrate John's latest honour, the John Bolster Award, presented by UK motorsports magazine Autosport. Outlaw Nationals drag racing returns
This weekend, the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals makes its annual return to Bradenton Motorsports Park. This year's event will feature three days of drag racing, highlighted by the Jet Jam Night of Fire on Saturday, an event in which jet-powered cars and trucks will be lighting up the quarter-mile at speeds of over 300 mph.
Cowin returns to U.S. Top Fuel racing in 2006
Second-generation driver Andrew Cowin will make his return to the United States drag racing scene behind the wheel of a new Top Fuel team fielded by respected insurance industry figure Scott Griffin of Wilmington, NC. The deal was brokered by Mark Carrier, longtime Griffin friend and Cowin�s former employer.
