(April 22, 2011) – During the Las Vegas Super Chevy Show you will be able to wear out your tires and your automotive frenzy on the autocross course, dragstrip, have a car judged in the car show, pick up some spare parts in the swap meet, or just chill out in the grandstands. Any of the above choices will provide a lot of fun at this year’s version of the west coast kick off for the Super Chevy Show presented by GM Performance Division and Original Parts Group when it visits The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway April 29-May 1, 2011. Returning from last season as Autocross sponsors, Total Cost Involved, Wilwood Disc Brakes and Currie Enterprises have added Toyo Tires as another promotional partner. “We are thrilled that Toyo Tires had such a great experience at the recent Super Chevy Show in Palm Beach, FL and that they are joining us for the show in Las Vegas. AUTOCROSS DETAILS: Who: Open to amateur and competitive participants in a Chevy bodied or Chevy powered vehicle What: Single car, timed course competition Where: Six events in 2011 – Palm Beach Intl. Raceway, The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Texas Motorplex, Spokane County Raceway, Royal Purple Raceway at Houston, and Firebird Intl. Raceway. Entry Fee: $45 two-day entry for Saturday & Sunday competition (includes Car Show entry) Times: Las Vegas 10:00am – 3:30pm Saturday and Sunday Classes: Spectre Performance Novice class, Open class for skilled participants, and Ladies class.
