Original Parts Group Cruise to Las Vegas

Cruisers will journey from Original Parts Group headquarters in Seal Beach, Calif. to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Super Chevy Show, presented by GM Performance Divison

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 14, 2011) – Being a long-time sponsor of the Super Chevy Show in Las Vegas, Original Parts Group has witnessed direct benefits for their company and is back for the 2011 year. The only difference is, Original Parts Group will now be hosting the “2011 Cruise to Vegas”.

The cruise is set up to begin at the Original Parts Group headquarters, located in Seal Beach, Calif., Friday of the event ( April 29th). The cruise will begin at 10:00a.m. with participants receiving goody bags and the chance to meet ‘n greet the Super Chevy staff. The crowd will head out at 11:00a.m., and proceed to Yermo, Calif. Once in Yermo, cruisers will have lunch at Peggy Sue’s ’50s Diner between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m., leaving time for fuel stops.

Original Parts Group recently released several new products for 2011 including stainless moldings, emblems and soft trim. “We have also launched, in full, three new GM car lines: 1954-76 Cadillac, 1963-76 Riviera and 1962-76 Grand Prix (along with 1959-76 Bonneville/Catalina),” said Gus Stewart, Marketing Manager for Original Parts Group, Inc.

OPG is also sponsoring the “Best ‘Chevy A-Body’ Restoration” award, which will be presented at the show.

For Original Parts Group, being a sponsor of the Super Chevy Show Series is a great way to stay connected with existing customers, while allowing them to introduce the company to new customers. “It is great exposure for our brand and something we are happy to be a part of,” added Stewart.

Total Performance Engineering will serve as the final destination point for the cruise. Like Original Parts Group, this company was also a vendor at last year’s Super Chevy Show in Las Vegas.

Total Performance Engineering recently relocated to a larger building in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Industrial Complex in order to gain more space to serve all of their customer needs. TPE represents many manufacturers like Kooks Custom Headers, Kenne Bell Super Chargers, SPEC Clutches, and Pfadt Race Engineering components.

Food and beverages will be provided for all cruise participants when they arrive at Las Vegas Motor Speedway around 5:00pm.

Total Performance Engineering is owned by the husband and wife team of Jeff & Jennifer Gooss. Jeff tells us, “We can’t wait to welcome all of the participants from the Original Parts Group Cruise to Las Vegas. We will have a great atmosphere set up for them to see our new shop with some current performance car builds going on. “

Total Performance Engineering will also be hosting an Open House event, which welcomes all Super Chevy Show participants and performance fans in the Vegas area to come by from 5-7pm on Friday, April 29.

“We want as many Super Chevy Show fans and participants to come over and join our Open House party on Friday night of the event weekend. We will also have a great display over at the drag strip during the weekend. If anyone needs directions to our new facility for that Friday night (April 29) they can reach us at 702-632-0270,” added Jeff Gooss.

Their new location on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway property is at 6867 Speedway Blvd. Unit R-104 Las Vegas, NV 89115
