FW: NHRA Lucas Oil Divisional Event Contingency Posting Tops $5 Million


A total of 91 product contingency bonus awards by 70 different manufactures have been posted for each of the 2011 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series divisional events contested across the country.  The product bonuses amount to $120,465 per event, totaling $5,059,530 for the 42-race series which features six- events in each of NHRA’s seven geographical divisions.

Racers that win or runner-up and utilize the posted products and display the sponsor’s decal on both sides of their race car are eligible for the bonus awards.  Racers should check with sponsor representatives for exact contingency qualifications.

Additionally each of the events offer points counting toward both NHRA Lucas Oil divisional and national championships, as well as, the annual Jegs Allstar event to be contested as part of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill.
