ADRL To Offer All-Access Live Online Broadcast Of CarSafe Dragpalooza VII Free Of Charge

O'FALLON, MO (March 23, 2011) – One of the best deals in drag racing will get even sweeter this weekend.

The American Drag Racing League (ADRL) announced on Wednesday that its all-access live online broadcasts will be presented free for everyone on the ADRL website, www.ADRL.us, for the first race of the 2011 season, CarSafe Dragpalooza VII presented by LenMar Motorsports.

The kickoff for the 2011 ADRL Tour takes place Friday and Saturday at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas, and the announcement will allow fans from all over the world to experience the ADRL with the most comprehensive and innovative live broadcast in motorsports.

"We are opening up our streaming broadcast to the world and we are very excited to offer this first race free of charge to our fans. We want everyone to be able to experience all of the action live and see every elapsed time without any time lapse," ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said.

"It will be a VIP weekend pass for everyone to see the greatly expanded live coverage we are providing for the 2011 season."

Earlier this month, the ADRL announced that its 20-plus hour coverage of each two-day event will be available free of charge to ADRL members in 2011.

All ADRL Members will have full, free access to every live race on the 2011 Tour as well as all of the archived content that will be available.

With an annual cost of just $30 for an ADRL membership, free access to all of the live and archived video programming will provide a substantial added member benefit.

For non-members, each event following Dragpalooza will be available for $9.95 per day or $14.95 per event.

On the highly-anticipated kickoff weekend, though, all fees are dropped, giving fans an extended preview of the numerous added features for the ADRL's 2011 online coverage.

Already boasting complete wall-to-wall coverage of every race, the ADRL has added multiple camera angles, behind the scenes features, improved presentation, an online broadcast team and much more as new features for its 2011 broadcasts.

"We want people to experience and enjoy this amazing coverage, and offering this first race for free also gives them the chance to get their ADRL membership in time for the second race," Fortune said. "To have all of these features and to be able to watch every race in the 2011 season free with an ADRL membership is just an amazing value. It's also a great incentive to become an ADRL member after this weekend."
