Deadline for the RacingJunk / Super Chevy Show Sweepstakes is fast approaching

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 11) -- Christmas will come early for one Chevy car enthusiast this year. But those interested better act quick.  October is not only the final month of the Super Chevy Show's 30th anniversary season, but it's also the final month to register for the season-long sweepstakes, which, thanks to RacingJunk.com, will present one lucky fan a one-of-a-kind RacingJunk/Snap-on-Tools Super Chevy Show tool box.

The contest began at the first Super Chevy Show of the season in March and concludes Oct. 31. Fans can sign up for the sweepstakes either in person at the upcoming Phoenix Super Show, which is scheduled for Firebird International Raceway on Oct. 22-24, or on the Internet at superchevyshow.com by clicking on the Tool Box Sweepstakes logo and completing the online entry form.

"The Super Chevy Show series worked with Source Interlink Media, producers of Super Chevy Magazine, RacingJunk.com, and their partner Snap-On Tools to come with a unique Sweepstakes prize," said Ryan Haas, who’s Forward Sports Marketing agency represents the national touring series.  "Super Chevy Show fans and participants need to get registered within the next few weeks to be eligible to win this great prize, because the deadline to enter is October 31, 2010."

The design of the four-drawer, Classic 78 rolling Snap-on Tools chest, worth nearly $5,000, came from RacingJunk.com, which is the nation’s top performance classified web site, connecting more than 2.7 million buyers and sellers together for the sale of racing parts, cars, engines, trailers and more.

RacingJunk.com provides not only great service to the spectators, racers and car show participants that attend Super Chevy Show events, but it has also provided great service to the series itself.  The new Super Chevy Show ownership group had a Featherlite car hauler trailer to sell this summer, and they chose RacingJunk.com for this service. "Everyone of the new Super Chevy Show owners was impressed at how quick and easy the processwas to sell the trailer through RacingJunk.com," Haas said. "It only took posting some simple information with pictures to get a lot of inquiries within 24 hours. The buyer for the trailer was discovered three days into the posting, and the entire process took just over a week to complete the sale.”
"The series will definitely continue to utilize RacingJunk.com classified services.  The Super Chevy Show owners have some relatively new scooters that they will be selling through RacingJunk.com in the near future because of how great the ability is to attract the right buyers, along with how easy the process is handled," added Haas.

The last event where fans and participants can enter the RacingJunk.com Tool Box Sweepstakes in person is only a few short days away.  The Phoenix Super Chevy is expected to be one of the best races of the season.

The three-day event, which begins Friday, Oct. 22 with the traditional Test-N-Tune, will feature an appearance from nostalgia funny Cars and sportsman drag racing in several classes. A car show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23 and Sunday, Oct. 24, with Saturday's participation topped by the Super Chevy Magazine's Editors' Choice Top 10 awards and specialty awards. Total Cost Involved, Wilwood Disc Brakes, and Currie Rear Ends will once again host the popular autocross, adding a second racing dimension to the Super Chevy Show finale.
