AHRA 2010 Reunion Tour to be broadcast on Fox Sports Network

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (March 4, 2010) - The American Hot Rod Association announced today that each event of the entire 2010 AHRA Reunion Tour will be broadcast on Fox Sports Network as entitled highlights features on "Inside Drag Racing" produced by Masters Entertainment Group of Bristol, Tenn.

"This is definitely the direction we want to head. Fox Sports is where we want to be, and to have a television deal this year to offer our fans and drivers is very exciting," said Troy Moe, CEO of AHRA.

"I'm thrilled with how Butch McCall and Ted Jones from Masters have really reached out to be a part of the programs we're developing. They have a lot of experience in broadcasting drag racing, and it'll be great to bring their knowledge to bear on what we're doing," Moe said.

Butch McCall, Executive Vice President of Masters Entertainment Group, said, "This will really be a win for everyone involved. We've got several people on our staff who remember and were even a part of AHRA in days gone by, so to be a part of the Reunion Tour and bringing AHRA back to a new position in American drag racing is something that's really satisfying for us.

"I know that we'll be able to provide a great show, and I'm confident that AHRA will put on high-quality events," McCall added.

Each of the six events in the AHRA 2010 Reunion Tour will be featured in 30-minute shows as a part of the Inside Drag Racing series on FSN.

The shows air Sundays at 11:30 a.m. across the country, and the individual events will be produced to air typically two to four weeks after the event has concluded.
