Auto Imagery Launches New Website, LOOKatDragRacing.com

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Auto Imagery, Inc. has launched a new website, LOOKatDragRacing.com, devoted to showcasing NHRA drag racing through vivid, unparalleled photos accompanied by compelling and original editorial content.

"Our intention is to capture the essence of drag racing at each and every event in the NHRA Full Throttle Series," said Richard Shute, President of Auto Imagery, Inc. "LOOKatDragRacing.com will deliver everything from smoky burnouts to huge wheelstands and header flames at night, and our mission is to consistently provide what the typical fan in the grandstands wants to see and feel."

LOOKatDragRacing.com, bannered as the Premier Drag Racing Photoblog, commits to being a positive and powerful visual news source, free from speculation and rumor. The website will focus on the visceral reality of the fastest, most intense form of motorsports, as well as the drivers and teams bringing it all to life.

Content will include past and present standout images from both professional and sportsman competition, celebrating the thunderous power of nitro cars and the grassroots of the sport.

"While our primary focus will be on presenting today's drag racing experience as it happens, LOOKatDragRacing.com will also provide the opportunity to dust off some of the really cool photos from the past that are just sitting in the Auto Imagery archives," said Shute. "Our database includes nearly a million incredible images, each with a story to tell.

"I speak for everyone on our team when I say that we are very excited to get LOOKatDragRacing.com off the ground in time for the 2011 season and the 60th anniversary of NHRA Drag Racing."

Carlsbad, Calif.-based Auto Imagery, Inc. laid down roots over 30 years ago when Richard Shute decided to make a business out of his favorite hobby: photographing drag racing. Shute and longtime associate Dave Kommel have traveled near and far to photograph NHRA drag racing from every angle across the United States and Canada, covering each event on the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series tour. Auto Imagery has provided professional photos for race teams and has been published in every major publication that covers drag racing.
