All Harley Drag Racing Association Returns to Firebird International Raceway this April Following Two-year Hiatus
GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY – Feb. 8, 2010 – There are no seat belts, no roll bars and no parachutes. It’s just one competitor, one Harley, a quarter-mile of track and up to 230 miles of adrenaline-pumping, thrill-seeking speed!
Welcome to the world of the All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA). After a two-year hiatus, the AHDRA is returning the Valley with the Screamin’ Eagle Performance Parts Arizona Nitro Nationals, scheduled for April 17-18 at Firebird International Raceway, 20,000 Maricopa Rd.
Nearly 300 competitors are expected to compete, including 2009 AHDRA Top Fuel champion Steve Dorn, runner-up Jay Turner and 2008 champ Phil Schmidt. All three competitors have their sites set on the top spot for 2010.

What: The 2010 AHDRA Screamin’ Eagle Performance Parts Arizona Nitro Nationals. The two-day event features nearly 300 racers competing in up to 15 different racing classes, including the 230-mph Top Fuel bikes.
When: Saturday April 17th (Gates open at 7:30; sportsman’s qualifying begins at 9 am; pros begin at 11 am)
Sunday April 18th (Gates open at 8 am; sportsman’s eliminations begin at 9, opening ceremonies for pros begin at 12:15 pm, with pro eliminations scheduled for 12:30 pm)

Admission: Single day tickets $30, weekend tickets $50. Children 11 and under are free. Free admission for active and reserve military personnel with valid military ID.
