Mello Yello cans 'Go On Yello'

Staging lights on ... Go On Yello! This racing season, Mello Yello shifts gears on its packaging and launches a limited-edition 16-ounce can featuring the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series logo flanked by flaming header pipes.

Fans of high-speed vehicles and citrus smooth beverages will come together to enjoy exhilarating NHRA race days with the passion-igniting, on-the-go refreshment of Mello Yello.

As previously announced, The Coca-Cola Company has extended its partnership with the NHRA through 2018. Beginning in 2013, Mello Yello will be the lead brand and title sponsor of the NHRA’s Professional class series. The citrusy smooth beverage has given its 16-ounce packaging a brand-new, supercharged paint job for a limited time.

"Over the past decade, the Company has developed a strong partnership with the NHRA and its fan base. The 16-ounce cans are available in select convenience stores now through August, exclusively in major race markets: Atlanta, Chicago, Topeka, Epping, Norwalk, Brainerd, and Indianapolis. The limited-edition Mello Yello 16-ounce cans can be redeemed at select tracks for an $8 discount on adult NHRA race tickets.
