RPM Working to Solidify NHRA Pro Mod Series for 2014 & Beyond

In January of 2013, twenty Pro Mod race teams formed the Real Pro Mod Association (RPM). Their main objective: find new sponsors to fund the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series for 2014 and beyond.  For this project, RPM has retained the services of Forward Sports Marketing to conduct a search for new sponsors and work with the NHRA to meet the goals.

"Forward Sports Marketing is working with potential sponsors interested in branding, midway activation, hospitality and electronic media available through the 10-race NHRA Pro Mod Series for at least the next three seasons (through 2016) and beyond," says Ryan Haas, FSM Director of Business Development. "We are really happy with the positive response we've been getting from companies. The RPM owners and drivers are very professional, well organized, and have a tremendous amount of value to offer sponsors."

At the same time the association has been working to secure funding, John Waldie, President of RPM has been talking to racers about increasing car counts in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.

"We already have a wonderful cast of drivers in the NHRA Pro Mod Series, including several drivers who are RPM board members including Danny Rowe, Troy Coughlin, Mike Castellana, Mike Knowles and Steve Matusek," said Waldie. "We've been told by multiple other teams that they're building new cars to bring to the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series in 2014. The future looks very bright for the Series going forward."

Sponsor inquiries can be made to Forward Sports Marketing at (816) 246-8866 or email Ryan Haas at ryanhaas@fowardsportsmarketing.com.

The NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series starts the second half of their 2013 season in Norwalk, OH on July 5th – 7th, followed by remaining races at Indianapolis, Charlotte, St Louis and Las Vegas.
