Hilton, Hansen, Glafka and McNeal earn victories at Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series #2
Sunshine
and good times were the theme for the first day of competition at
Woodburn Dragstrip for the 2012 season. In Super Pro, Travis Hilton
used a .022 reaction time to down Tom Avgerakis in the finals. Al Lyda
was the lone semi-finalist. In Pro, Mike Hansen and Ryan Schaefer had
nearly identical reaction times, but Hansen took the win on a double
break out. Steve Stuart took semi-final honors in Pro. In Sportsman,
Robert Glafka and his trusty Torino took the measure over Karl Hart.
With a stout .017 reaction time and a 12.18 on his 12.17 dial-in,
Glafka’s final round was nearly untouchable. Tony Littleton and David
Chun, Jr. took semi-final honors in Sportsman. Veteran racer, Bill
McNeal showed his expertise as he took the victory over Cliff Mansfield
in the finals of Run Tuff.
