Kentucky Moonshiner on canvas

Some well known Kentucky boys have made it even further into the big time. The Kentucky Moonshiner Top Fuel Dragster that raced in the 1970s has been put on canvas by artist Louis Noe of Louisville. Dale Funk of Valley Station, along with partners Robert Frakes (crew chief) and Bill English (owner), won the 1975 IHRA Top Fuel World Championship. The car was built by Bill Stebbins and painted by Bob Taylor. The team has been inducted into the Kentucky Motorsports Hall of Fame and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, and has been honored by the NHRA. But being memorialized on canvas tops the list.
