CamaroGuys.com Supports Super Chevy

KANSAS CITY, Mo., (March 22, 2012) – 2011 Super Chevy Show sponsor, CamaroGuys.com is continuing their support of the Super Chevy Show in 2012 and is giving the Gen 5 Camaro bracket racers at all 12 events a chance to duke it out on the drag strip for bragging rights to win the "CamaroGuys.com Gen 5 Challenge" award.

"We are pleased to announce our continued support of the Super Chevy Show," said Jill Canuso, CamaroGuys.com Marketing Director. "Due to the success of our 2011 CamaroGuys.com 'Super Show Contest,' we decided to turn it up a notch for 2012 and give Gen 5 Camaro racers special recognition. With our support of the Series and sponsorship of the 2012 'Gen 5 Challenge' it's a Win-Win for everyone."

Beginning with the kick-off event for the season at Palm Beach International Raceway in March, the racer with the fastest 5th Generation Camaro at each of the 12 Super Chevy Show events will take home the limited edition trophy created specifically for the challenge winner by CamaroGuys.com. Each special-designed trophy is crafted on the company's waterjet machine and given a bright chrome finish for racers to proudly display. In addition, each Winner and Runner-Up will receive a special t-shirt to commemorate their performance.

CamaroGuys would like to thank all who participated in the wildly successful 'Super Show Contest' in 2011. The lucky Grand Prize Winner, Scott Evans of Ridgecrest Calif., can cruise to the Super Chevy Show on a new set of WELD RT-S Direct Fit Camaro Wheels!

The popular Camaro Web Site, Forum and Super Chevy Show sponsor, Camaro5.com's Moderator, TRIBONE is excited about the CamaroGuys.com renewed sponsorship and addition of the Gen 5 Challenge and attention it's going to bring to the late-model Camaro.

"First I want to thank CamaroGuys.com for their sponsorship and for allowing us 5th Gen drivers to have a class of our own to compete in. The trophy is done very well, it just flows without been cluttered. It would definitely look good on anyone's trophy case, I know I would want to have it in mine," said TRIBONE. "I'm glad that CamaroGuys.com has sponsored this event again this year and hopefully they can continue to sponsor this event in the years to come. It says a lot of the kind of guys they are and their love for the Camaro. Hopefully in a couple of years, they'll also be able to sponsor a Camaro 6th Gen Bracket."

"The Gen 5 Challenge award allows the 5th Gen Camaro guys a chance to match their car against someone else with the same car regardless of what's under the hood. This prevents a lighter car like the 1st Gen Camaro from running away from the 5th Gen Camaro because its a lighter car. This will emphasize attention to detail when building your Camaro. Everyone has the same chance as the other guy to modify their 5th Gen Camaro. May the best 5th Gen Camaro win!," TRIBONE added.
