New engine for Britain's first dragster


We hereby announce the arrival in England of a correct new blown 354 Chrysler Hemi engine for England and Europe’s first dragster, the iconic Allard-Chrysler which is on permanent display at the famed National Motor Museum – Beaulieu, southwest of London.

The Quarter Mile Foundation assisted the Allard Chrysler Action Group in England, which has been at the forefront of installing a correct supercharged Chrysler 354 Hemi in this car for several years, in finding an engine builder with access to the engine.
