O'FALLON, MO (December 3, 2010) – Drag racing and environmental responsibility will have close ties in 2011, as the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) announced on Friday that its relationship with Safety-Kleen has been extended through the 2011 ADRL Tour.
As part of the innovative agreement, Safety-Kleen will appear at ADRL tracks during the 2011 racing schedule and will provide environmental services while working with the tracks and teams to implement a variety of green initiatives aimed at reducing drag racing's environmental impact.
Safety-Kleen will also be the official Environmental Service Provider for the ADRL as it continues to bolster its relationship with the 1/8-mile drag racing series.
"The ADRL is at the top of our list again for 2011 motorsports sponsorships," Safety-Kleen Director or Marketing Drew Patey said.
"The ADRL's complimentary ticket model has helped us spread the green message to our clients and drag race fans around the country and the plans for 2011 have us more excited than ever."
Safety-Kleen has maintained a strong presence in motorsports and the ADRL has been a key part in the company's message resonating with drag racing fans. Safety-Kleen is excited about continuing to reach the growing ADRL fanbase with its green message.
Safety-Kleen will also continue to be a presenting sponsor at one of the ADRL national events, Universal Technical Institute Dragpalooza VII presented by Safety-Kleen, which takes place March 25-26 at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.
The presenting sponsorship will allow Safety-Kleen to provide environmental services at each track, while also displaying confidence in the future of the ADRL.
"Safety-Kleen is an exceptional company to work with. They have really grabbed onto the ADRL concept and made it a great success for our benefit and theirs throughout the country," ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said.
"I know they have big plans for 2011 and we are happy that they are again allowing the ADRL to help spread their "Green Message.'"
