[NEOPMA] MARYLAND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY STEPS UP AND PICKS UP CANCELLED NEOPMA PRO MOD EVENT FOR THIS WEEKEND

(10-23-2013) Mechanicsville, MD – The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods (NEOPMA) will finish their season at MIR this coming weekend October 26 – 27 thanks to the Miller Family stepping up and having the NEOPMA final points event of the year at MIR to crown a Champion.

Maryland International Raceway's fans love doorslammer racing, and have built a great relationship with the NEOPMA for their ability to put on a great event with fast side by side quarter mile drag racing, and open access to all teams and their pits. The NEOPMA considers MIR their home track and this gesture shows why.
"I'm really thrilled that the final point's race will be at MIR. When I found out about NEOPMA's cancellation I felt that the right thing to do was give them a place to finish their points season", states Royce Miller - General Manager of MIR.
This Year the NEOPMA had many cars running in the 5 second range and this event will yield fast runs.  MIR is noted as a "Record Breaking Facility" and many of the Pro Mods that will be attending have the potential to break a track record.
The schedule will be two qualifiers Saturday afternoon starting around 2:00 pm, and Eliminations starting noon Sunday morning. Spread the word and come on down for 2 fast days of ¼ mile pro mod racing.

You can follow the NEOPMA on their Facebook page throughout the race weekend for pictures, updates on qualifying, eliminations and much more.  https://www.facebook.com/NEOPMA

The NEOPMA would like to thank MIR and all the sponsors below, Pro Mod Teams and Crews, Tracks and Fans who support the ¼ Mile Pro Mod series
