Drag strip debated in NW Indiana Plans to reopen a drag strip in northwest Indiana have been met with enthusiasm from race fans, but residents worry about increased traffic and noise.

I grew up not far from u.s. 30. I saw alot of famous racers there. Tommy Ivo,Chi-town Hustler, Hemi under Glass, Color me Gone,the Blue Max..the List goes on...I now live 10 min. from Da Grove,here in Wisconsin. But I sure would come down on a Sunday afternoon for a visit....now what about Oswego..LOL
I know the guys personally,and they dont come any better,1 had an INDY car team with his family,1 is an IHRA champion,and has a major sewer company,1 is one of the biggest announcers in the country,and 1 is a promotional guru who is in charge of all the sponsors. With this set up they will make it a great place to have motorsports events !
