Vintage cars in rare auction
A unique collection of rare antique cars and parts that was accumulated by a late car buff is being auctioned off in Shelby Township. Highlights of the collection include a 1929 Ford flathead Model A Roadster on a 1932 frame (Brookville body); 1950s homemade nostalgia dragster that won an Autorama top award in 2002 and was part of the acclaimed "Eyes on Design" show in 2004 at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Lake Township; 1929 KJ Henderson motorcycle; and SCoT blower engine that was in the dragster but is being sold separately.
