IHRA Funny car revisions get mixed response
Paul Noakes isn't a regular in the Hooters Drag Racing Series, but he's not daunted by the IHRA's revised field size for funny cars. This year, instead of 16 cars qualifying for the eliminations, only eight advance. 'We totally plan on being in that top eight,' the 37-year-old Saunders secondary school teacher said yesterday.
