Back in 1998, the year of the fiftieth anniversary of racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats, Hot Rod Magazine, and NASCAR, I began compiling a special section on this site to honor some of the people and aftermarket companies that have been with us for a long time. It's good to see that these companies have survived in a competitive marketplace in a changing world.
