NORWALK, Ohio (August 20, 2012) –
Robert Jaramillo has been named Director of Contingency Sales for the
International Hot Rod Association, IHRA Vice President Skooter Peaco
announced.
Jaramillo
will take on the new role in addition to his current position as Sales
Director for IHRA's in-house publication Drag Review Magazine. Jaramillo
will continue to service contingency and DRM accounts from his office
in Laverne, Calif.
"There
are a lot of common companies between DRM and contingency and we
thought that this would not only be a logical fit, but Robert has done
such a great job improving DRM sales that we felt there would be no
better candidate to help strengthen the contingency program and take us
to new heights," Peaco said.
In
his new position, Jaramillo will provide contingency outreach for the
IHRA and its various racing series including the Nitro Jam and Summit
