More street racing feared when track shuts down
The impending closure of Hawai'i Raceway Park in April has parents and police concerned about a potential rise in illegal street racing — while machine shops and other racing-related businesses are wondering how they'll keep operating.

Problem is that you cannot keep kids and families at same event very long. Plenty of tracks in DFW area, but still way too much underground and street racing. Local track owners have got to have the flexibility to have a "No-Family" night session set aside so that local tracks can have their own "NOPI" type events, whether the racers are running tuners, bikes, or more traditional cars.

There is a reason the the NOPI Tunervision is not only must see TV at my house, but alos looks to be pretty well-attended. I wouldn't take my daughter, but I would damn sure take goods/services/entertainment dollars...
