AA/Blob! John Bell wonders if it's time funny car teams forgot product identity completely to promote parity (something Don Skuza promoted a few years ago). Should NHRA just pop out a single body form for all the FC teams?

John, I have had the exact same thoughts. Having followed drag racing since I was in elementary school back in the 60's, I have been dismayed by the similarity of all the nitro funny cars. John Force is my current favorite driver, but when I see his Mustang, up against Capps,Tony or Cruz P, etc., the cars differ only by the first two feet on the nose of the car. You don't get the old school since of rivalry between Ford and Chevy, or Hemi vs. Wedge. But, hey, it's all about marketing, sponsorship, etc.
