Tickets as low as $25 for inaugural Palm Beach Nitro Jam
After a decade long absence from the Sunshine State one of drag racing’s most popular brands will make its long awaited return to Florida for the inaugural Palm Beach Nitro Jam January 29-30 at Palm Beach International Raceway.
Tickets for the two-day nitro-fueled spectacle will go on sale Friday at www.nitrojam.com.
Fans can beat the holiday rush and grab the best seats in the house or pick up the perfect gift for a loved one by logging on today.
“What a way to kick off the 2010 Nitro Jam season than by visiting one of the top facilities in the entire country with one of the biggest shows we have ever produced,” said Aaron Polburn, IHRA President. “Palm Beach International Raceway truly is one of the top destinations for drag racing and we are going to make sure that fans in attendance at the inaugural event see and hear things they will never forget.
“Nitro Jam is all about the fans and putting on an unforgettable show and we will do just that at PBIR.”
This one of a kind event will feature an incredible 20 nitro-burning dragsters and funny cars in Top Fuel, Pro Fuel and Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car, the first ever showdown between the 60,000 horsepower jet trucks of Shockwave and Super Shockwave, the quickest and fastest factory hot rods on the planet in Mountain Motor Pro Stock, the world’s only wheelstanding school bus the “Cool Bus” and over $30,000 worth of fireworks – all of which will be featured twice each night.
The inaugural Palm Beach Nitro Jam is scheduled for Friday and Saturday with a new race each night. Spectator tickets start at just $25 and all tickets include free parking, a free pit pass and admission to Fan Fest, a designated time prior to each race where the fans can get autographs, see the cars and witness “Thunder in the Pits” as all 20 nitro cars warm up at the same time.
Fan Fest is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. followed by the world’s biggest nitro show at 7 p.m.
Without a doubt this unique event will go down as one of the biggest drag racing entertainment events in Florida history and at the center of it all is beautiful Palm Beach International Raceway.
“This is literally one of the best tracks I have ever seen. We go to some world class facilities, but there is just something special about this place that is sure to make it a top destination for the IHRA and its different brands for years to come,” said Polburn. “I can’t wait to get next season underway.”
