Pinks All Out Goes Nitro

Bakersfield, CA: The widely popular cable TV show "Pinks All Out" goes nitro. For the first time in the shows history they will feature exhibition runs by Top Fuel dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars. Auto Club Famoso Raceway manager, Blake Bowser announced this special aspect to the show that will tape on Saturday, September 12, 2009. The event itself will start on Friday, the 11th.

Representing the Top Fuel cars will be the current World Champion High Speed Motorsports entry driven by Troy Green and the new fueler of local, Brad Thompson. The Nostalgia funny cars will be the Pisano & Matsubara tribute car and the recreation of the Beach City Chevrolet Corvette. Rounding out the exhibition cars are 2 each of AA/FA, AA/Gas and a couple of other door/dragster (PSCA, A-D/GAS, NE1 type cars) all yet to be named.

The High Speed Motorsports team has already announced they will make at least one, if not two test passes during Friday's Test N Tune session between 2 and 7 pm.

On Saturday the exhibition cars will make 1/8 mile passes except - maybe - after the "TV Runs" some should choose to make a 1320 tune-up pass.

Pinks All Out airs on the Speed Channel and the dates for this event will be announced shortly after its completion.
