Hot August Nights photos
Every year we have this event here in Reno. It continues to grow bigger every year, with more and more beautiful cars and great things to do. They put on Sock Hops, Prom night, Cruise's, poker runs, drag racing, car shows, auto auctions, concerts with oldies groups and a parade. All kinds of memory lane stuff for about 10 days. It really fills the town and takes you back to those good old days. Anyway here are some shots Anne took downtown, on just one day of the event. There were around 7,000 cars at the event in total. You really have to see it, to believe it. About 1,200 more are on the waiting list, as they only allow so many to enter the event each year. Really some great looking iron here, hope you enjoy it. - Jean Muntfering
