New racing strip a drag for residents
David Sullivan has listened to the weekend roar from Ocala Speedway for 29 years. But Sullivan and many of his neighbors are worried that the din from the Speedway could become even louder and more frequent. That's because the racetrack's owners have applied for a special-use permit to build a one-eighth-mile drag racing strip.
