In the final rounds of qualifying at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Southwestern International Raceway (SIR) Chris Demke was the top qualifier in Top Alcohol Dragster and Larry Miner maintained his No. 1 position in Top Alcohol Funny Car.
