TYLER HARD RACES TO NEOPMA PRO MOD SERIES VICTORY AT MAPLE GROVE RACEWAY’S PRO MOD WARS

(9-10-2013) Mohnton, PA – Tyler Hard and Team had their 68' Tim McAmis  Pro Mod Camaro ready for action and proved it with an impressive win at the "Latin American Sports Compact II Event " at Maple Grove Raceway this past weekend. Tyler's consistency was awesome, and opponent's miscues lead him to his first NEOPMA victory.
Conditions were awesome all weekend, and with days of beautiful weather forecasted leading up to the event, 25 teams attended and prepared for qualifications. Many of the teams struggled to get a handle on the track, but by the final qualifier many of the teams where ready for eliminations.
"Maple Grove is our home track," Tyler Hard said. "The Camaro was working perfectly. Track Manager Anthony Winchester and all the staff at MGR took care of all the racers, and prepped the track perfectly. My Team had the Pro Mod running consistent."
"This event was added to our schedule after Ivan Mejias, club sponsor and owner of USA Auto Supply invited the NEOPMA to participate in his 2nd annual Latin American Sports Compact II event," said John Mazzorana NEOPMA President. "It was a well-organized event with thousands of fans in attendance and loving the action. Overall for the year, we have had 50+ different Pro Mods attend at least one of our events. That says something positive about quarter mile Pro Mod action on the East Coast."

With the runner up, Gary Courtier maintains second place in points, with Fred Scriba maintaining the points lead by a slim 44 points with one point's event remaining October 12th at Virginia Motorsports Park. That event will determine the 2013 NEOPMA Champion.
The NEOPMA Pro Mod Series continues with the International Pro Mod Challenge NEOPMA vs. PMRA, September 20th - 21st at Maryland International Raceway.  For more info on this event visit http://www.mirdrag.com/v2/schedule/calendar/2013/13-09/13-09-21.htm
