Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods Announce a New Format for its Popular “1320 Pro Mod Warriors Series” for its 2013 Season

01-24-2013 Huntington, NY – The NEOPMA's 2013 seasons "2013 Pro Mod Warrior Series" is set to return Pro Modified to its glory days with 16 Car Pro Modified Fields with all power adders running in one class down the quarter mile.

NEOPMA would first off like to again congratulate Fred Scriba and Steve Drummond for their championship accomplishments last year with the NEOPMA. Now they get to face off this year in competition. It's going to be a wild year……
Everyone agrees that this type of competition and rivalry will increase racer and spectator attendance. Our Blower, Turbo and Nitrous Teams seem to be evenly matched with our fastest cars running in the 5.90s to 6.0s range, so the competition will be exciting with side by side racing down the quarter mile.
For 21 years the NEOPMA has maintained its members in part because we try to make sure that our Teams can compete and be assured that no one car or type of car will dominate and our rules will adjust accordingly. NEOPMA has a small yearly fee that allows Car, Driver and 3 crew members in free to all NEOPMA events in 2013. Another option is to pay per race for a small entry fee per event. Visit our website for details. http://www.neoutlawpromods.com
We feel our pay outs are in line with National and Regional series and directly linked to our track Partners and Sponsors, and therefore will vary slightly based on their contributions. It is our intent to pay out the maximum to our racers... so the 2013 payouts have gone up.
In addition our product sponsors will be providing contingencies valued at approximately $2,000.00 at each event as well as annual points winner/runner-up awards.
Here is what we are planning;
Winner                        $5,000.00 to $7,000.00 plus $2000.00 in contingencies
Runner up                   $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 plus $2000.00 in contingencies
Semi Finalists x 2      $750.00
Quarter Finalist x 4    $500.00
Qualifier x8                 $350.00
The NEOPMA is a not for profit club, therefore we will pay out to the sixteenth car and even have a consolation race assuming we have more than 20 competitors .
Consolation race is $500.00 winner take all.
