Spokane Raceway Park update
Thought I would update you on what is happening here। The County Commissioners voted this past Tuesday to bid on the Raceway Park when the sale occurs tomorrow। the plan is if another interested party who wants to keep the track operating bids on it, the county will drop out and let the private party have it। However, if a private party bids who wants to tear down the track, the county will stay in the bidding and attempt to buy it. A track management company from the Seattle area has gone on record as saying that if they are contracted to manage the track, they will transfer the NHRA Schucks Auto Parts Northwest Nationals to Spokane because of weather problems in the Seattle area.
