Checking Out The Other Side of 'Rock' Racing
I have been on NASCAR pit roads when the command was given to start the engines and I have been against the outside fence at Darlington taking pictures as the entire 43-car field came flying by, but I have never in my life experienced anything quite like being at that starting line when that light turned from red to yellow to green and those two top fuel dragsters came blasting off not 20 feet from where I was standing.
