Capps going back to 1970
It was the Funny Cars of his youth that steered Carlsbad's Ron Capps toward a career in drag racing. Which is why Capps has accepted an offer to drive a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Funny Car in the eighth annual Goodguys Nitro Nationals Aug. 5-7 at Pomona Raceway.
