Rocky Reports: Frantic Ford Coming Back in 2013

The Pirrone, Ellershaw and Musser race team is excited to announce its newest project for 2013..

Plans are in the works to build a 1969 Mustang Nitro Funny Car to compete in the new "Classical Nitro AA/FC" group. The Mustang will be adorned with the Frantic Ford name that Jim Fox made legendary in the late 60's and early 70's. We're also pleased to announce that the project has the blessing's of Freddy and Bobby Frey who also were instrumental in keeping the name legendary with the late Dodger Glenn...

The Frantic Ford Mustang was the first funny car Rocky ever worked on as a nine year old kid, helping Jimmy Fox with between round maintenance... Rocky's father built the transmissions for this car and having the chance to bring it back to life is something Rocky is looking forward too...! The new car will be a part of "Classical NITRO AA/FC Group". The two initial members will be former NHRA World Champ Bruce Larson and the above Frantic Ford of Pirrone, Ellershaw and Musser..... Look for more updates in the weeks to come..!
