Mr. Pratt, I just came across this blog post from much earlier this year. First, thank you for the mention. A lot has happened this season and with just 2 days until our last Import Wars Points Series event at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin we're still holding all 3 of our cars in the top 5.
It's been a great season because we've seen tremendous growth in the number of participants and spectators alike. Getting young people with these highly modified "tuner cars" to the Drag Strip is a labor of love. Once we get them involved in organized sanctioned drag racing, they soon realize street racing is reckless and irresponsible.
These racers in our series can enjoy watching the fruits of their labors on Hondaddy.com. We film and post all the eliminations from all classes at every event. We have over 350 new sport compact match-ups from just this season alone. Our video archives has almost 1000 races beginning at the 2005 season.
We've just begun discussion about the 2008 Import Wars season. We're very fortunate to have Mike Reusche and Phil's Inc. Automotive Warehouse behind us and our race series. Mike has seen the Sport Compact market grow and has generously gotten behind our Father, Son, Daughter team.
We are very happy to be part of the only racing series of this kind in the Midwest. As the popularity of our sport grows, I know the best is yet to come.
