The ADRL announced on Friday that Aeromotive Fuel Systems will be the official sponsor for the Pro Modified class during the 2012 ADRL Tour, making it the Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Modified class.
A previous ADRL sponsor, Aeromotive will work even more closely with the world's premier eighth-mile drag racing league as part of the widely-popular Pro Modified class. The 2012 ADRL Tour begins on March 30-31 with CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston, and is the first of 10 stops at many of the nation's most prestigious tracks.
An industry leader when it comes to fuel systems and fuel system components, Aeromotive offers more diversity with fuel systems and fueling options than any company in drag racing. With impressive diversity in its selection, Aeromotive offers everything from fuel pumps to regulators, filters and complete items system solutions for drivers in every ADRL class.
Aeromotive, which is based in Lenexa, Kansas, has a number of options ideally suited for Pro Modified cars, making it the perfect sponsor for one of the ADRL's fastest growing classes.
Additionally, Aeromotive has signed up to display its extensive line of products at the Tim McAmis Race Cars trailer at each ADRL race, ensuring that their high-quality products will be available to racers at every event.
"It's exciting to be apart of the ADRL again," said Jesse Powell of Aeromotive. "Pro Mod is one of the most fun classes to watch, hands down. To support the racers and the ADRL so this class can be front and center for the fans to enjoy, it is a great opportunity and we are really looking forward to a great 2012 season."
The Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Modified class first debuted in the ADRL in 2011 with a series of three exhibition races.
After treating fans to some of the closest and most exciting side-by-side racing over those three races, it was named an official ADRL class in November.
Pro Modified, which boasts a rich doorslammer racing history, mixes supercharged, nitrous and turbo cars into one incredibly competitive division, adding even more excitement to the ADRL's fast-paced racing weekend.
"We are thrilled to have Aeromotive Fuel Systems as the official sponsor of the Pro Modified class, as they have already shown considerable support for this new class in the ADRL," ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said.
"The response from drivers and fans to the Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Modified class has been remarkable and we are looking forward to a tremendous season in the class in 2012."
