MOHNTON, Pa. (Feb. 21, 2012) – With Maple Grove Raceway celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2012, the Super Chevy Show scheduled for July 20-22 promises to be extra special.
Maple Grove’s stop has historically been the largest of all Super Chevy Shows on the tour in both attendance and participation. The 2012 season is bound to be a record-breaker.
Thankful for Maple Grove Raceway’s rich history, vice president/general manager Lex Dudas is ready for what the 2012 season has to offer.
“Maple Grove is very proud to host the largest show on the national tour. The event has been well supported each and every year with over 650 race entries, 425 car show entries and over 250 swap meet entries,” said Dudas. “2012 marks the 50th anniversary of Maple Grove Raceway and the 26th time we have held a Super Chevy Show. We know the support we receive from our loyal Super Chevy customers has played a very large part in making Maple Grove Raceway what it is today.”
Presenting Sponsor of Maple Grove’s Super Chevy Show, Original Parts Group Inc., is also be celebrating a milestone in 2012 with its 30th Anniversary. The sponsorship will include a special car show plaque during the Class Awards ceremony for the Best “Chevy A-Body” Restoration of the Show.

Gold Class – All extensively done Show Vehicles. Undercarriage will be examined to determine eligibility, and a final decision will be rendered by consensus of the Car Show Officials. The Supervisor decision is final and the entry would compete in the Gold Class. The registration procedure remains the same for all vehicles. All entries will register for their normally assigned class and the Judging Supervisor will make the registration change and provide the owner with a new classification card. Gold Class entrants will be reassigned a parking area and will be grouped together. Winners will be awarded in separate categories as appropriate, as well as appropriate “Best” awards
Each class has the possibility of having these classes within. Example being…. Camaro 1967 – 1969 could actually be 3 classes with 3 Winners and 3 Outstandings
