O'FALLON, MO (February 28, 2012) – For the past two seasons, CarSafe and CarSafe Motorsports has been one of the most visible partners in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL).
With a standout motorsports team and a huge presence at each ADRL event, CarSafe has maintained a strong relationship with the world's premier eighth-mile drag racing league.
That partnership will continue for a third straight year.
On Tuesday, the ADRL announced that CarSafe will continue as the Official Extended Vehicle Service Provider for the third straight season.
In addition, CarSafe is the title sponsor for the first race on the 2012 ADRL Tour, CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII, which takes place March 30-31 at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston. The company will also serve as the presenting sponsor for the Gateway Drags IV presented by CarSafe in St. Louis, and the World Finals VIII presented by CarSafe in Dallas.
"We have more enthusiasm than ever. This year's schedule is very exciting and it will allow us to have even more exposure," CarSafe President Mark Eckman said.
"I think we will even have more productivity this year with the way we have things set up with the ADRL. This will help us get to the next level and become the premier company in what we do."
CarSafe is an agency that provides extended vehicle service agreements, which helps protect customers from unexpected repair bills.
CarSafe's multiple benefits include roadside assistance, towing and rental cars, and much more, and the growing company has quickly become one of the leaders in extended vehicle service agreements.
As part of each ADRL event the last two years, CarSafe has also provided tremendous interaction for fans with an autograph zone and a number of other interactive items.
In 2012, CarSafe will take it a step further with the "CarSafe Elite Hero Challenge," which will give one lucky driver the opportunity to win a grand prize of $10,000. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite driver at www.CarSafeEliteHeroes.com, and the driver who earns the most votes over the course of the highly-anticipated 2012 ADRL Tour will win the first CarSafe Elite Hero Challenge Trophy and the $10,000 prize.
The Elite Hero Booth will be at each ADRL event, giving fans an ideal opportunity to meet their favorite ADRL competitors.
"It's a great way to get the drivers even more involved," Eckman said. "There are prizes for the fans, too, and we think this is really going to be a lot of fun."
The 2011 season marked the first year CarSafe was the title sponsor at Dragpalooza, and the 2012 ADRL Tour marks the first year it has served as presenting sponsor for two events (the Gateway Drags and World Finals).
"The Texas area is big for us. People drive a lot of miles in Texas and drive outside their factory coverage pretty quickly. The whole purpose of working with the ADRL is branding of our name and logo. We're selling the best product out there and we want to let everyone know that," Eckman said.
"St. Louis is where our biggest office is located and it gives an opportunity for our employees to get to see the (Gateway Drags), which we think is going to be a big success."
The CarSafe Motorsports Team also had its best season to date in 2011, as standout driver Richie Stevens Jr. won the "Battle For The Belts" in Extreme Pro Stock during his first year of racing in the ADRL.
After a number of successful testing sessions over the winter, Eckman and Stevens are hoping for a big 2012 season.
"We absolutely can't wait for the season to start," Eckman said. "I couldn't even put into words how big it was for us to win that. It was a huge reward for everyone.
"We're there to have fun and I can't wait to get back to racing. We feel really good going into the season."
