JOHN FORCE ULTIMATE CAR SHOW ADDED TO AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA NHRA FINALS CELEBRATION

GLENDORA, Calif. – NHRA’s 60th Anniversary celebration will finish in spectacular fashion at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals, Nov. 10-13, as NHRA will honor 15-time world champion John Force, the sport’s most prolific driver, as the official legend of the event.

Fans attending the historic event at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see an incredible collection of John Force Racing’s most famous race cars that have competed in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series for the last five decades.

With assistance from the John Force Ultimate Car Show, the special John Force Racing car corral will be one of the featured attractions at the season-ending event that will see NHRA Full Throttle Series world champions crowned as the event is the final of six races in the Countdown to the Championship.

Some of the most recognized race cars ever driven by Force, as well as some of the cars that have been driven by many members of his team, including daughters Ashley Force Hood, Courtney and Brittany Force, and Robert Hight and Mike Neff, will be on display for fans to see, including John’s 1990 Castrol GTX Oldsmobile, the first of his 15 world championship cars; his ever popular “Brute Force” 1976 Monza Funny Car; the impressive “Superman” Ford Mustang; the special “Elvis Tribute” Mustang; Force’s “Driver of the Year” Mustang; Ashley’s famous pink “Rookie of the Year” Mustang; Robert’s “L.A. Dodgers Tribute” Mustang; and many, many more. In total, 28 John Force Racing vehicles will be on display for fans to see and interact with.

“We are racing for the championship at John Force Racing but we are also about spreading the gospel so putting together all my show cars for the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals is very important to us as well,” said Force. “We have fans through our museums in Yorba Linda and Brownsburg, Indiana throughout the year but we have never brought this many cars to one location before. We wanted to make it big because this 60th anniversary celebration for the NHRA is huge.”

Along with this already impressive lineup of vehicles, the John Force Ultimate Car Show will also include regular appearances and autograph sessions all week long from the NHRA Legend himself as well as a jumbotron playing some of the greatest moments in John Force Racing history. The John Force Road Show will also be on hand with interactive displays and videos produced by John Force Racing Entertainment.

“I want people to see this car show and be blown away,” continued Force. “It will be like nothing they have ever seen before. Fans will be able to see my early Funny Cars like the Brute Force Monza right beside my Superman Funny Car. That will be really cool I think. I get fired up thinking about it and I guarantee I’ll be over there checking out all these Funny Cars when this ultimate car show is all put together.”

Fans who have purchased a Sunday ticket to the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals also will have the opportunity to participate in the ever-popular Track Walk with a Legend program as Force will accompany fans down the historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona drag strip Sunday morning prior to pre-race ceremonies.
