LUCAS OIL RACING POSTPONED IN BAYTOWN
BAYTOWN, Texas – Mother Nature got the best of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series this weekend as officials had to pull the plug on the NHRA Texas Sportsman Shootout with about 130 racers left in competition. Eliminations kicked off this morning after a three hour rain delay with more than 400 competitors in eleven classes. The rain returned during round two of eliminations which put an end to the racing action.
The remainder of the event has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 22, at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.
