I'd like to thank Royce Miller and Dave Outten for having the Pirrone and Ellershaw Race Team at the second annual Legends of Budd Creek Nostalgia Race... This event has really taken off in its second season! The racer participation was great with the pits full and more importantly the stands were much fuller than the previous year! The Pirrone & Ellershaw team had all FIVE of its race cars in attendance at this years event! The Boss Hydro and K.S. Pittman 1933 Willys AA/GS cars were there for display, the "Soul Survivor" Nitro Comp coupe took part in the cacklefest. The Big Time Memories 1941 Willys driven by Rick "Pappy" Stief participated in a AA/GS match race with legendary gasser great Fred Bear. We also had the Screamin Eagle Funny car in the Nostalgia funny car final. We had the honor of racing Bunny Burkett and her all star crew in the final.
