PMRA Pro Modifieds and Quick 32 Sportsman Series to compete

GRAND BEND, ONTARIO (August 9, 2009) – With heavy rains in the area over the weekend, the Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals have been rescheduled for August 15-16 at the Grand Bend Motorplex.

For the thousands of loyal fans who ventured to Grand Bend for this great weekend show of drag racing, event management will honor all admission and parking passes for next weekend’s racing.

Qualifying for the PMRA and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series classes will begin Saturday, August 15, with round one of eliminations to begin Sunday afternoon.

Along with round four in the 2009 Pro Modified Racing Association series, and round three in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, featuring Top Dragster and Top Sportsman action with quick six and seven-second cars. Also on tap will be the Grand Bend Motorplex Top Dragster and Top Sportsman Series and some great racing action in the Thunder series and Junior programs.

Complimentary spectator event tickets will still be available at Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts locations across Ontario, at businesses in Stratford, or by contacting the Quick 32 Sportsman Series or the Pro Modified Racing Association.

General parking is $20 per car load and weekend camping is available.
