WJ Wins K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge Vote for 8th Slot

As was just announced on NHRA Race Day on ESPN2, Warren Johnson won the fan vote to compete in the K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge. It will be the 24th time the winningest Pro Stock driver in NHRA history has competed in the special bonus event.

He will be the No. 8 seed and face off against top seed Mike Edwards in the first round. The other first-round matchups: Greg Anderson vs. Rodger Brogdon; Allen Johnson vs. Ron Krisher; and Jeg Coughlin vs. Jason Line.

Complete details about the 2010 K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge, which will be contested next weekend at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, will be made available in a press release to be posted Monday morning.
