AND THE BEAT GOES ON

York, PA - The beat goes on for the 8th Annual Musclecar Madness at the York Reunhion car show presented by York Traditions Bank and GGS Technical Publication Services on July 10- 11th at the York Expo Center, York Fairgrounds which is shaping up to be the best show ever!

The Salute to Ford will debut the completely restored Fermier Brothers '62 406 Ford Galaxie which has been completed in time for the show. This car was the 1965 NASCAR Winter Drags Champion at Spruce Creek Dragway in Daytona Beach and competed at consecutive US Nationals events in Indianapolis from 1964 thru 1969.

Bob Glidden's '94 Ford Probe 85th Victory Pro Stock race car will also debut at the show along with a whole host of Ford legends and legendary race cars.

The Paul and Pam Balash '41 Willys coupe will be unveiled at 2:30 p.m. for the first time since completion. The car is gorgeous and is a replacement for their Willys coupe that was stolen last year while enroute home from Beech Bend, Kentucky. The new car is an even finer specimen than the previous car and was completed in a record six months.

An awesome lineup of Legends attending include Wally Bell, Bob Harrop, Tom Sneden, Dave Reitz, Ed Hedrick, Ed Miller, Arlen Vanke, Dick Estevez, Al Joniec, Monk Reynolds, Bud Faubel, Jere Stahl, Jerry Jardine, Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins, "Miss Hurst Golden Shifter" Linda Vaughn, "the Voice of Drag Racing Jon Lundberg" and a whole host of others too numerous to list.

Special discount ticket coupons for show admission will be exclusively available at the Cruisin' Columbia Cruise-In downtown Columbia, PA on Saturday, June 20th from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m.

The Cruisin' Into Summer cruise in will be presented both days at York by the Cruisin' Columbia staff. Friday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. First thru Third Place Awards will be presented in Street Rod, Muscle Car, Truck, and Special Interest, Long Distance and People's Choice. Entries can be registered on the day of the show.

The show benefits the York County SPCA with special drawings, memorabilia auction on Satruday at 5:30 p.m. and proceeds from canister voting for the People's Choice award. Pets will be on display and a variety of SPCA items will be on sale.

The Central Penna. Modelers will present their very popular model display of detailed muscle cars and legendary drag race cars. Always a highlight of the show.

Admission to the show is $25.00 for discount two day ticket. $15.00 single day, children under 12 free and free parking. All active service men and women will be admitted free upon presentation of their active military i.d.
