Excitement is all over the place as we are two days away from our annual fiberglass festival.
The Third Annual Marion County Nostalgia Funny Car Nationals will be the biggest collection of funny cars east of the Mississippi, in well over 20 years. We have 21 blown and five injected alcohol cars and 2 nitro cars.
Plus to make the show more exciting we have four nitro front engine dragsters and well over 20 gassers and the track is running a quick sixteen and their regular bracket program.

GRAND BEND, ONTARIO (August 3, 2010) – When the Pro Modified Racing Association rolls in to the Grand Bend Motorplex this coming weekend of August 7-8 for the Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals presented by Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts, the teams will be on their game plan in this hotly-contest 2010 season.
Presently in fourth spot is three-time and reigning PMRA Champion Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario, who has 760 points. Gary Irving of Toronto, Ontario, driving the Al Hinds Pro Modified entry, is fifth with 759 points.
The fifth round of the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts will also take place during the Stratford Spectacular event.
Complimentary spectator event tickets will still be available at Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts locations across Ontario, at businesses in Stratford, or by contacting the Quick 32 Sportsman Series or the Pro Modified Racing Association.
This traditional event at Grand Bend will feature the fifth round in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, to be held August 6-8.
The Top Dragster side leads in the overall event wins three to one, with the Championship rounds going to Wildgust, Forrest, and Paulo Giust of Osgoode, Ontario. Top Dragster driver Sam Christian of Buffalo, New York won the dragster side in the other race, but was eliminated in the final by Grubb, who has the only event win for the Top Sportsman class. Other Top Sportsman winners are Wicke, Gray, and Corriveau.
